Naturally Muslims are interested in the previous prophets (peace be on them all) due to the fact that some of them are mentioned in the Holy Qur'an. However, we are shocked to learn that the Christians believe that Jesus was indeed the True God (God forbid). I came across the Gospel of Barnabas some years ago and was surprised to see that this Gospel is very similar to the Holy Qur'an in many ways. Hence, I decided to do a comparison between the Holy Qur'an and the Gospel of Barnabas. Following is what I found:

• Birth of Jesus
• Prayer and fasting of Jesus
• Jesus' miracles
• Muhammad in the words of Jesus
• Crucifixion
• Miscellaneous

Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and have disputations with them in the best manner; surely your Lord best knows those who go astray from His path, and He knows best those who follow the right way (Holy Qur’an 16:125)

And do not dispute with the followers of the Book except by what is best (Holy Qur'an 29:46)
